Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) reveal so many amazing and comforting insights about the many puzzling mysteries of life, death, and the Afterlife. After rigorously researching over 5,000 NDEs over the past decade, I can definitively share these 5 Undeniable Truths as well as back them up with actual accounts and veridical evidence.

Truth #1 – There is Life After Death

First, I can confidently assure you there is indeed life after physical death.

When millions of people from thousands of cultures and numerous religions all across the planet, whether they were devoutly religious, lapsed Catholics, Sunni Muslims, Hasidic Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, agnostics, atheists, or any other flavor of religion or spirituality, all report having a very similar experience after death, you can know for sure our spiritual essence lives on. Yes, of course our physical body dies but thousands of documented NDEs from all corners of the world provide irrefutable proof that our indomitable and immortal spirit continues on.

“I consider the moment of my death the greatest gift of my life… I had a head on collision on my way to run the Austin 10K run. I broke my back in several places and sustained several internal injuries. During surgery, I popped out of my body and had a full NDE experience. No one, except possibly the most committed atheist, could have been more surprised than me at the beginning of my near-death experience. The first moments outside my body felt exciting and electrifying. My spirit danced a bit of jig realizing that there is more to existence than the physical. I felt like a child again, happy to see what came next and glad that my spirit body retained the essence of who I am… There, in the room with the doctors, nurses, surgical technicians, anesthesiologist, and others, I felt incredible joy and shock as I realized all does not die with the body.” Tricia Barker

“There is absolutely LIFE AFTER DEATH! I don’t fear death! I tell everyone not to fear death because death is NOT the end of you!” Chari H.

“I don’t fear death. I KNOW there is existence after death. I know there is a beautiful, loving place beyond death’s door that is waiting for me.” John R.

Truth #2 – There is a Heaven

Second, as someone who has heard directly from thousands of people who have actually been there, I can assure you there is a Heaven, Other Side, Nirvana, Happy Hunting Ground, or whatever you prefer to call it.

Upon physical death, our eternal soul enters a wondrous, otherworldly, often ineffable realm of love, peace, beauty, and bliss many call Heaven. It is so wonderful and comforting that many NDErs say it is our real HOME as they realize our human lifetime on earth is just a short, temporary journey.

“The place where I went wasn’t here, wasn’t this universe… I’ve never found adequate words for what to call it, except for ‘HOME.’ I just knew it was HOME, my real HOME. When I did return back to here, I felt totally out of place. This wasn’t where I belonged anymore – it was only where I’m meant to be, just for a time. They promised that when I’m done, or when I’ve done all I can do, then I could go HOME again. To express what HOME was like has been impossible for me to do. Everything HOME is connected. It is all One. It’s Light. Light is love, or what beings here call ‘love,’ I think. Peace. It is all at peace… While I was HOME, I was more alive and at peace than I have ever been here.” Carl D.

“I emerged to find myself standing in a field, a meadow, so beautiful and infused with a life force so strong, even the blades of grass glowed with the life within. It was warm and quiet, like God was here.” Victor B.

“Everything in this garden had an overall whiteness and brightness about it. I was seeing the bright green of the plants. I could see the water, and a bright glow surrounded it and the burbling of the water had a musical sound to it. The water was so sparkling clear!” Derry B.

Truth #3 – We’ll Reunite with Our Loved Ones

Third, we’ll reunite with our deceased family, friends, and even beloved pets.

Fortunately, there are thousands of heartwarming NDE accounts where people joyously reunite with their loved ones upon their arrival in Heaven. NDErs report they’re jubilantly welcomed HOME to Heaven by their spouses, children, parents, grandparents, best friends, favorite pets, etc. – it’s like a spiritual family reunion and homecoming party all rolled into one big celebration.

“When you die you are greeted by loved ones first so that you may understand what has happened. There is a big celebration, like a birthday party, heralding your arrival. Family and friends who have gone on before you are there to celebrate your arrival.” Betty Bethards

“There were enormous shade trees scattered around and beyond the field was a small river about 30 feet across. On the opposite bank of this river was my father, who had died when I was seven, and my brother, who had been killed in a car accident when I was 23, and various aunts and uncles who had passed away. And even there were four people that I had never met in this life, but I certainly knew who my four grandparents were even though they died before I was born. It was this huge welcoming, homecoming, and family reunion feeling. They were as thrilled to see me as I was to see them.” Karen Thomas

Truth #4 – There is a God

Fourth, the thousands of NDErs and I can guarantee you there is a God.

Again, whether you prefer to call him/her God, Source, Spirit, Yahweh, Allah, or The Big Guy/Gal, NDErs meet and interact with our Maker and Creator of the Universe. Rather than seeing an old guy with a beard sitting on a throne, NDErs often describe God as a brilliant, loving Light that is a force of unconditional love and font of universal knowledge.

“I knew immediately I was in the presence of God. I have always referred to God as a Him, and I guess I always will. But the Being on my right was not a Him or a Her; it was just God… There was no distinct form, certainly no face or body, just a blinding profusion of brightness. I wasn’t so much meeting God as I was recognizing Him. I already knew Him, and He knew me. I’d spent my life doubting His existence and disbelieving His love for me, but in that instant I knew God had always, always been there – right there with me… This was the Creator of the universe, and I was in His presence! The sheer ecstasy of it! The beauty of it, the joy and the grace, the way my spirit soared and my heart burst – how I wish I had the words to convey just how miraculous this was.” Crystal McVea

“I knew that this love that I was feeling was the love of the Higher Power, or what I had been raised to call God. And how I was experiencing God was not at all like I had been taught God was supposed to be like. It was not like an old man with a long white beard sitting on a throne judging me whether I was good or bad. No, that was not what I was experiencing. I was experiencing God, or the Higher Power, to be like this immense, vast, omni-present, stretching throughout and permeating all of creation, like a force field of LOVE. An infinite intelligence that was like underlying, interpenetrating all of everything, all of creation.” Dr. Yvonne Kason

“So was I communicating directly with God? Absolutely. Expressed that way, it sounds grandiose. But when it was happening, it didn’t feel that way. Instead, I felt like I was doing what every soul is able to do when they leave their bodies, and what we can all do right now through various methods of prayer or deep meditation. Communicating with God is the most extraordinary experience imaginable, yet at the same time it’s the most natural one of all, because God is present in all of us at all times.” Dr. Eben Alexander

Truth #5 – God Loves Us Unconditionally

Finally, NDErs are positively overwhelmed by the unrelenting and unconditional love God bathes them with in Heaven.

Many of them become extremely emotional in trying to relay the pure and powerful love they felt from God during their time in Heaven. No matter what kind of life they lived, they say God loves and accepts all of us completely and welcomes us fully into Heaven.

“I saw how this Light absolutely loved everything on earth, a billion times more than love, as we know it. Even the fine hair underneath plant’s leaves were not only loved, but also somehow accounted for. I laughed at the notion that we did not know how much we are loved. It was stupendous in emotion. I did not want to ever leave that love… No woman, child, animal, or belief has ever been able to even approach this Love.” Loran G.

“The most amazing part was a pure feeling of the most intense love I can barely describe. It was just wave after wave of pure love. It was within me, it was around me, it was EVERYTHING. It felt like heartbeats of love, one wave of love after another. Yet there was love in the interim as well, then the wave would come with even more and more. It was endless, eternal and complete. I had no fear whatsoever, I had no feeling other than LOVE. I had no thought other than reaching the LIGHT. I felt pure happiness and joy. It was the most beautiful feeling that words could never even come close to describing. The closest thing I can think of to relate it to on this earth would be the moment I brought my child into this world. That moment of pure unconditional love that I’m sure most mothers and some fathers have felt. Still that is only but a very small fraction of what I am trying to explain. Words seem so small and insignificant in comparison to the experience.” Nichole BD

Thousands of NDE accounts provide us with enlightening and encouraging proof about these five undeniable truths. They assure us that Heaven is a place of tremendous peace and comfort and God is even more excited to see us than we are to see Him.
